You may recall that back in May a new initiative to manage problem gulls arrived in Ilfracombe, after funding for a hawking programme was obtained via North Devon Council in honour of ex local, Dudley Jenkins, who was a proponent of the hawking approach. (Full details on the NDC Website)

At the last One Ilfracombe Town Team meeting the Harbour Master proposed that an online survey be created in a bid to assess local opinion and to identify potential funding, should the programme be continued in 2023.
