One Ilfracombe Living Well – October Update!
It was great to see everyone after our summer break — and there’s lots happening across Ilfracombe!
Here are some highlights
Youth Engagement: • Successful skate park event in August — another planned for October half term
• £250 funding secured for a youth graffiti workshop with Silk Crystal Studios
Youth Hub Plans: • Strategic meeting with Devon County Council this month to progress plans for a dedicated Youth Hub in Ilfracombe
Employment & Skills: • Planning a Cultural Careers Open Day
on 6th November (10–2, The Lantern)
• Free Functional Skills in Maths course starts 5th November at Ilfracombe Library
• National Trust hosting a Countryside Management event soon!
Ilfracombe Culture Club: • New members, new ideas, and Flourishing Cultures-funded workshops at Hand:Plant this winter
Community Highlights: • Tesco blue tokens support Into The Blue

• Car seat safety training rolled out with local partners
• Updates from North Devon Baby Bank, now supporting over 180 families!
• Energy-saving advice available via 361 Energy CIC
• Active Devon offering free wellbeing training around physical activity
