One Ilfracombe & friends get arty (again)!

Our latest art project in Ilfracombe was completed on Church Street last week.

Working again with Silk Crystal (Ilfracombe) and Spray Saint (Plymouth) we have continued our work to bring stand out art features embracing a sea and coastal theme across the town.

Whilst the artists did all the hard work and we would like to THANK them for their artistic ideas, work and passion, this would not have been possible without the funding and permissions to use the wall as a canvas.

On speaking to Wildstone, the wall owners, for permission to use their space, they were so pleased with the concept that they very kindly agreed to not only let us use the wall but they also offered to fund the work! For this we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to Paula and Team Wildstone.

We would also like to thank the North Devon Council managed Town Centre Enhancement Scheme and we look forward to using the scheme to potentially fund elements of future projects of this kind.

It is intended that the Ilfracombe Cultural Plan, and those involved with the delivery of this, will continue to identify more potential spaces, ideas and funding to be able to build upon more work in the very near future.

If you know of any other spaces that would benefit from work similar to this, drop Neil at One Ilfracombe an e-mail at neil.ingram@northdevon.gov.uk but please bear in mind that there are strict caveats on privately owned property being funded with public money for any art work.
